I now present the definitive Top 25 poll. Each week I will poll myself, tabulate the results, and then present them.

The number in () is last week’s ranking.

1. Oregon 7-0 (1)
2. Alabama 7-0 (2)
3. Florida State 6-0 (3)
4. Stanford 6-1 (7)
5. Baylor 6-0 (10)
6. Ohio State 7-0 (8)
7. Missouri 7-0 (20)
8. UCLA 5-1 (9)
9. Clemson 6-1 (5)
10. LSU 6-2 (4)
11. Texas A&M 5-2 (6)
12. Miami 6-0 (11)
13. Auburn 6-1 (25)
14. Texas Tech 7-0 (13)
15. Wisconsin 5-2 (15)
16. Oklahoma 6-1 (18)
17. Nebraska 5-1 (19)
18. Oklahoma State 5-1 (21)
19. South Carolina 5-2 (13)
20. Central Florida 5-1 (NR)
21. Virginia Tech 6-1 (23)
22. Louisville 6-1 (12)
23. Northern Illinois 7-0 (24)
24. Michigan 6-1 (NR)
25. Fresno State 6-0 (NR)

Dropped: Georgia (14), Washington (16), Florida (22)

As a reminder, this poll is based on who I think is the better team. In my opinion, a higher ranked team would beat a lower ranked team on a neutral field. It is not based on how they will finish the year or what the final record of each team will be.

Note: There may be significant fluctuation to my rankings as I watch teams play, as my opinion of their ability to beat teams above and below them on a neutral field may change. I will not be simply sliding teams up and down based on if they win or lose, but rather reevaluating my opinion each week. I believe this is how a poll should be done.
