I now present the definitive Top 25 preseason poll. I polled all one of me, tabulated the results, and now present my top 25 poll.
This poll is based on who I think are the better teams. In my opinion, a higher ranked team would beat a lower ranked team on a neutral field. It is not based on how they will finish the year. For example, if based on record and finish, I would have Louisville ranked higher because they have an excellent chance to go undefeated based on their schedule. But I have them ranked significantly lower, because I do not believe they would beat the teams higher than them on a neutral field.
1. Alabama
2. Oregon
3. Florida State
4. Ohio State
5. South Carolina
6. Georgia
7. Texas
8. LSU
9. USC
10. Stanford
11. Oklahoma State
12. Florida
13. Notre Dame
14. Clemson
15. Oklahoma
16. Texas A&M
17. TCU
18. Wisconsin
19. Miami
20. Louisville
21. Michigan
22. Baylor
23. Mississippi
24. Nebraska
25. Virginia Tech
I plan to post a poll at the beginning of each week. There may be significant fluctuation to my rankings as I watch teams play, as my opinion of their ability to beat teams above and below them on a neutral field may change. I will not be simply sliding teams up and down based on if they win or lose, but rather reevaluating my opinion each week. I believe this is how a poll should be done.
I already have an issue with this. You pick Alabama and Florida State to play for the BCS championship…but in your opening pool, you have FSU 3rd…..so I presume you expect Oregon to get worse and FSU to get better. This sounds sketchy…..and like your smoking crack
If you read the post you would see that what my poll means is that Oregon would beat FSU on a neutral field. That is different than my prediction of who will play for the national title. They are not inconsistent.
and I am pretty sure you have Baylor in there JUST BECAUSE you like the sound of Baylor Bears when it rolls of your tongue…..
Baylor is going to be a surprise this year. And how can you not like saying Baylor Bears?
Pardner! Think you got your Texas’s backwards.

I refer you to the rules of my poll. Who would beat whom on a neutral field. My Texas’s are correct. A&M may finish with a better record but i think Texas will be better than people think and A&M is not going to be as good. I stand by my rankings, at least until they start playing.
I may be and will most likely be wrong. But that is how I see it.
So much for Texas!
And USC! Both are horrible. I was wr…wr….wr….wrong. I want to be wrong on FSU as well.
