USC at Oregon State – A rare Friday night match up of not horrible teams. This game should be entertaining and fun to watch. There is nothing of immediate importance in this game but neither team is out of the race in their respective division, so this game is important to both sides. USC is playing a lot better since the firing of Lane Kiffin.

Georgia vs Florida – The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Soda Party kicks off at 3:30. Both teams are reeling and injured. The Bulldogs and Gators both enter 3-2 in the SEC with slim hopes of winning the SEC East. Loser is clearly out. Winner needs help.

Michigan at Michigan State – These two teams are atop one of the Big10 divisions and the winner of this game has a huge lead in the race to face Ohio State in the Big10 Championship Game. Both teams only have a single loss on the year. Michigan State is at home and in my opinion the better team, but neither may matter in this match up of rivals.

Oklahoma State at Texas Tech – The Red Raiders are coming off a bitter loss to Oklahoma last week, ruining their hopes for a perfect season. The Cowboys only have one loss on the season, an inexplicable loss to West Virginia. The Cowboys begin play against 3 Top 15 teams in their last 5 games. The Red Raiders are a 2.5 point favorite at home making this game a toss up. This game could light up the scoreboard.

Tennessee at Missouri – The Tigers hope to rebound after a crushing loss to South Carolina last week missing a very short field goal in overtime. But the Tigers path is clear, win out and a trip to Atlanta beckons. Slip up once and the SEC East is a mess. Tennessee is going with their backup QB.

Miami at Florida State – Flashback to the 80’s and 90’s as both teams enter undefeated. The Noles are a three TD favorite. I do not think that Vegas believes in the Hurricanes. It could be that they have seen them play, as Miami has looked less like a Top 10 team than any that I can remember. But guess what? It does not matter as they have managed to stay unbeaten and the Canes now have the opportunity to put all that behind them. Win this one and everyone will forget the squeakers they have pulled out. It is also not out of the question that this is just Part 1.
