Date: August 18, 2014 | This year they visit two of the largest, well publicized stadiums in college football; “The Big House” or Michigan Stadium, home of the Michigan Wolverines, and “Death Valley” or Tiger Stadium, home of the LSU Tigers, along with Rice University, and University of Houston as a doubleheader weekend!
Date: October 22, 2013 | …and finally, after several years of planning, the guys will visit storied Ole Miss, and The Grove. “Outside of discussing the locale we are visiting in a given week, The Grove is the only consistent location that other football fans across the country consistently ask us if we have been to yet,” Jarrett claims.
Date: August 29, 2013 | …and this year one of their stops will be Autzen Stadium, to watch the preseason #3 rated Oregon Ducks host California in one of the loudest, best known stadium experiences out there. “We’ve wanted to get out west to Oregon and Autzen Stadium for several years now and the schedule just never worked out,” Jarrett mentions.
Date: June 26, 2013 | First up on the list of new venues, the boys take a trip almost as far west as they will travel over the lifetime of this Quest, to Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon, home of the Ducks. This will be the first Pac-12 game they have been to. Both are looking forward to seeing if the reality of Autzen lives up to the hype as one of the best college football venues in the nation.
Date: October 18, 2012 | From some pre-travel research, it seems the Demon Deacons so have a pretty solid tailgate scene considering the size and lack thereof a recent winning program.
Date: September 6, 2012 | …and this year their second stop will have them join the “Sea of Red”, at Memorial Stadium, home of the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Date: July 24, 2012 | This year’s first trip was easy; Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt was an SEC school high on the list of places to visit. Vanderbilt was attractive due to it being an up and coming program, the excitement surrounding Head Coach James Franklin, its unique pregame experience, and its location, Nashville, which is fairly close in travel time to New York City.
Date: May 8, 2012 | It is the first day Al and Jarrett speak about the Quest after bowl season, and attempt to hash out where their Quest will lead them for the upcoming season.
Date: August 18, 2011 | …and this year one of their stops will be Happy Valley, to watch the Nittany Lions take on the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday, September 10. This time, they’re bringing a Winnebago and, Botta says slyly, “that could change everything.”
