Wake Forest at Miami – Miami ekes out another win to remain unbeaten. Next week…Florida State. One team will emerge with their first loss. I know where my money would be.

Connecticut @ Central Florida – Could UConn be the worst team in the country? It is certainly possible as they got spanked by UCF. They do have some opportunities on the schedule to get a win but a winless Huskie team is certainly possible.

Nebraska at Minnesota – The Golden Gophers get the upset and hand the Cornhuskers its second loss of the year, but this one hurts a lot more as it is a conference loss for Nebraska. This ended a 16 game streak the Huskers had on the Gophers who are now bowl eligible.

Western Michigan at Massachusetts – Someone had to win this game and the coin flip came up Broncos. Which is only fair as UMass already had a win over Miami of Ohio. But full props out to the Minutemen who went for two and the win, but they came up empty handed. Both teams now each have a single win.

Duke at Virginia Tech – The Blue Devils are now bowl eligible. I will pause while you pick yourself up off the floor. The Hokies dominated this game, but the Blue Devils get the win and are now bowl eligible for the second year in a row.

Texas Tech at Oklahoma – The Sooner offense gets the job done against the high flying Red Raiders. The Sooners now have some rest before going up against the Baylor Bears on a Thursday night in Waco. The Red Raiders move on to the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Baylor enters a tough stretch in the Big 12, so there is still much to be decided in this conference.

South Carolina at Missouri – The Gamecocks mount a 17 point 4Q comeback to force overtime. Both teams get a TD in the first OT. The Gamecocks win in the second OT on a missed 24 yard FG by the Tigers leaving the Missouri fan base stunned. But if that does not summarize Missouri Tiger football, I do not know what does. Connor Shaw was brilliant in this game after coming into the game late in the 3Q despite an injury that kept him out of the 1H. The Tigers still control their own fate in the SEC East, but another slip up and it becomes a mess.

UCLA at Oregon – This was a game for a half. With the game tied at 14 at halftime, the Ducks outscore UCLA 28-0 in the 2H. Doing what the Ducks do best, they ground down the Bruins who were injured coming in and UCLA just had nothing left after hanging for a half. Nov 7…Oregon at Stanford…Thursday night.

Penn State at Ohio State – The Buckeyes finally look like a Top 10 team. Are they? I am not so sure.

Stanford at Oregon State – The Cardinal D does it again. The Beavers look good in a loss. I am not into moral victories but I really like this Beaver team. I have no idea how this team lost to Eastern Washington.

Fresno State at San Diego State – Does anyone know how good the Bulldogs are? If you said yes, you are lying. We will never find out because they have an easier schedule than Louisville. They could go undefeated and not be a Top 25 team.
