UCLA at Utah – This game should have some points. These are two explosive offenses both scoring over 40 ppg and UCLA is over 50 ppg. UCLA looks to get off to a 4-0 start, while the Utes are 3-1 themselves. This could be whoever had the ball last, but I think UCLA takes it.

Maryland at Florida State – The Terps are off to a 4-0 start. They have played no one good but their win over Ok St looks better now than it did at the time. We shall see this week if the Terps are for real or not. FSU did not look great last week. This week will be an interesting test of FSU’s high power offense against the stingy D of Maryland which is one of the best in terms of points allowed per game. Vegas is not a believer in the Terps as the line on this game is 15.5.

Ohio State at Northwestern – Gameday is where? At Northwestern? Is that a misprint? Nope. Gameday is in Evanston for this match up of two undefeated teams. NW is trying to start 5-0 for the second consecutive year. To do so, they will have to beat the undefeated Buckeyes. The Wildcats wins this year have not exactly been against top flight talent. But this game will most likely provide the toughest test to the Buckeyes until the season finale against Michigan.

Washington at Stanford – Both teams come into this game 4-0. Stanford is looking to avenge last years 17-13 loss at Washington. The Huskies have been getting it done on both sides of the ball this year, but this will be their toughest test against the Stanford offense which has been transformed this year into a more vertical attack. This could be a game to stay up late for.

Georgia at Tennessee – The Bulldogs are coming off a huge win versus LSU and finish an opening gauntlet sitting at 3-1. Tennessee begins a 3 game stretch of Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama. This was once a critical SEC East game, but no more as the Vols are solidly in the lower tier of SEC East schools. The Dogs just need to avoid a let down, but I do not see this game as close.

Clemson at Syracuse – The Quest trip of the week. College Football Quest heads to the Carrier Dome this week for the Tigers and the Orange(men). Vegas has the Tigers as a 13.5 point favorite. What am I missing? Shouldn’t it be more like 113?
