I now present the definitive Top 25 poll. Each week I will poll myself, tabulate the results, and then present them.

The number in () is last week’s ranking.

1. Alabama 12-1 (1)
2. Oregon 12-1 (2)
3. Florida State 13-0 (3)
4. TCU 11-1 (4)
5. Baylor 11-1 (5)
6. Ohio State 12-1 (6)
7. Mississippi State 10-2 (11)
8. Michigan State 10-2 (8)
9. Mississippi 9-3 (14)
10. Arizona 10-3 (7)
11. Kansas State 9-3 (9)
12. Georgia 9-3 (13)
13. Georgia Tech 10-3 (13)
14. Missouri 10-3 (12)
15. Arizona State 9-3 (15)
16. Auburn 8-4 (17)
17. UCLA 9-3 (18)
18. Clemson 9-3 (20)
19. Nebraska 9-3 (21)
20. Wisconsin 10-3 (10)
21. LSU 8-4 (22)
22. Louisville 9-3 (23)
23. Utah 8-4 (24)
24. Boise State 11-2 (25)
25. Southern California 8-4 (NR)

Dropped: Oklahoma (19)

As a reminder, this poll is based on who I think is the better team. In my opinion, a higher ranked team would beat a lower ranked team on a neutral field. It is not based on how they will finish the year or what the final record of each team will be.

Note: There may be significant fluctuation to my rankings as I watch teams play, as my opinion of their ability to beat teams above and below them on a neutral field may change. I will not be simply sliding teams up and down based on if they win or lose, but rather reevaluating my opinion each week. I believe this is how a poll should be done.
