Well, I was not so good in this past round….

Semi Finals

Pittsburgh vs Boston > Pittsburgh in 6 Boston in 4
Chicago vs LA > Chicago in 7 Chicago in 5

What Boston did to Pittsburgh was just criminal. The Penguins scored 2 goals in the entire series. I did not think it would be the Pittsburgh offense that let them down, but it was.

LA needed Quick to be at the top of his game to beat Chicago and he wasn’t. I don’t think that Quick was the reason Chicago won as Chicago was simply the better team, but without him at his best, LA did not have a chance. And it showed.

Now onto the finals. Lord Stanley’s Cup. I do not think there is a more iconic or storied trophy in all of sports. If you have not read some of the stories relating to the Cup and its history of being left in bars, getting completely lost and being returned, and some of the locations it has traveled to, it is well worth reading.

Prediction
I thought Boston was coming into the Playoffs playing poorly and I figured they would go out to Toronto. But now, I do not think there is a team playing any better. I will go with Boston in 6.
